* HAKEEM OMOTAYO- Non-Executive Director
Hakeem Omotayo is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where he was awarded his degree in Economics (B.Sc.) and Agricultural Economics (M.Sc.). His career has seen him play actively in various sectors of the economy, such as Agriculture, Energy and Banking sector to name a few.
With over 23 years banking experience in both retail, Institutional and Commercial Banking where he was a member of the institutional banking team focused on Oil and Gas and Beverages business, he has been actively engaged in the operational and strategic levels of business both for the bank and its several clients. This has helped him build a wealth of Networks and relationship both locally and internationally, closely working with the management team of his client towards achieve the set strategic goals of their businesses.
Hakeem Omotayo has an eye for details and his presentation, speaking, writing and editing skills are exceptional, and currently he serves as Managing Director of Alt-Technologies Limited, where his work centres around his passion for green technologies, sustainable growth and poverty alleviation practices.
He will be joining the team as a NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR and would be available to give structure and support to the organization
* ENGR. AGBOOLA OLUMIDE – Executive Director
In his in over 17Years vast experience, he has operated closely with Management in both the Financial and Engineering sector of the Economy, establishing his technical skills and robust business management acumen. He has worked across Operational and Strategic levels of business within these industries, where he has undertaken several responsibilities which cut across Engineering, financial management and business development activities.
His foray into the financial sector, saw him focus primarily on the Oil and Gas Business where he was actively involved in monitoring and supervising Oil and Gas Projects funded by the Banks from Inception to Completion and subsequent release of funds for each milestone achieved, also the monitoring of KPIs for each project and ensuring quality compliance standards are achieved, while liaising with top client management, with a view of developing business concepts and processes.
This has gained him extensive experience in organizational start-ups, strategy formulation and implementation, project management, culture change initiatives, contract/ performance management and training & development.
An excellent team leader and administrator, a COREN Certified Engineer and a graduate of several management training programs. With an MBA Degree from the prestigious Warwick University UK and B.Sc. in Industrial and Production Engineering from the prestigious University of Ibadan, he serves currently as a director on the board of Tinovo Technology Service Limited and QTHub Limited.
He is directly responsible for the Business Growth, Customer delight and Marketing Strategies of the Organization which allows him to effectively put all his business experience into use to help create a sustainable, professional and financially viable organization in a new environment.
He would be working with the team as the new EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of the organization
FEMI OMOTAYO: Managing Director
Femi Omotayo is the Managing Director of QED International Oil and Gas Limited, He is an entrepreneur with over 30 years’ International Oil and Gas experience. His solid technical background has catapulted him to Executive Management roles with International Blue-Chip companies like Shell, Halliburton, AMEC and Talisman Energy. After his 18year service in Europe, he pioneered QED International in 2003 and became the Managing Director of Orwell Oil and Gas International in 2000 seeing the company through a successful merger that birthed AOS Orwell Limited, one of the largest indigenous oilfield service companies in Sub-Saharan Africa.
He has worked on various capacity which was not limited to Engineering, Field development, Operations & Maintenance and Project financing, and amongst his notable achievements as the Technical / Commercial lead to SONAPET was the successful development and construction of 50,000bpd capacity refinery in Soyo Northern Angola as well as the development and construction of the OBEKPA 50 Metric Tonnes per day Urea Plant in South-eastern Nigeria
He has a degree in Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering from University of Dundee and Imperial College, London respectively. He also has a Degree in Business Administration from the University of Aberdeen.
Through his exceptional leadership qualities, he has been able to lead the diverse and talented team at QED International Oil and Gas Limited, towards the development of the Nigerian economy and manpower capabilities for professional oilfield product and service delivery.
Mr. Omotayo is proud of his Nigerian roots and continues to champion the cause of innovation and technology transfer as a vehicle for change and global best practice in the indigenous oilfield service industry in Nigeria.
